Department

The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining the infrastructure of the city. This includes: picking up trash and recyclables; maintaining the streets, sidewalks, sewers and bridges; cleaning and plowing the streets; controlling the traffic flow in the city; and maintaining the city-owned transfer station and the two city-owned cemeteries, Oak Grove Cemetery and Mineral Spring Avenue Cemetery.
