Parking Ban

The parking ban will be lifted at 7:00 PM on February 28, 2026. Crews will clear municipal lots and continue snow hauling in preparation for the school day Monday. Please remove vehicles as soon as possible to allow work to continue safely and efficiently. Following the lift, residents are encouraged to avoid on-street parking when able to support efficient snow hauling and cleanup operations. Snow removal operations remain ongoing across the city as crews continue widening streets and addressing secondary roads. Snow hauling has begun in targeted areas as the next phase of operations to remove excess snow and improve roadway access. For storm-related concerns, including streets requiring special attention, please email [email protected]. Staff will be monitoring emails throughout the weekend to document requests and ensure they are routed efficiently to allow DPW to respond as quickly as possible.

Trash Collection

To support safe and efficient collection: • Do not place carts on top of snow piles. • When possible, place carts at the end of your driveway opening for accessibility • Reminder: Trash collection will resume on your regularly scheduled pickup day next week. For trash or recycling inquiries, please email [email protected]. Emails help ensure requests are documented and routed efficiently. Phone responses may be delayed due to high call volume.
