Welcome to Pawtucket’s Division of Senior Services at the Leon Mathieu Senior Center, a place where healthy aging is encouraged and connections to services is provided.
The Leon Mathieu Senior Center holds National Accreditation and was established in 1980. Comprehensive services and programs are offered to older adults, their families, and caregivers that inform, assist, enrich and fulfill the lives of those 55 and older. Mission Statement
The Leon Mathieu Senior Center is Pawtucket’s leading resource for information and assistance with programs and benefits for older adults 60 and above and health and aging activities and opportunities for adults 55 and older.
The mission of the Leon Mathieu Senior Center is to identify Pawtucket’s older adults and provide them with a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where they can access information about resources, programs and services available on the local, state and federal levels. The Center acts as an advocate for the rights and well-being of older adults on a wide variety of issues.

The Pawtucket Senior Citizens Council serves to ensure continued commitment to quality programming. The council meets on the third Monday of each month.
