Development of 2025-2029 Five Year Consolidated Plan
and 2025-2026 One Year Action Plan
The City of Pawtucket, RI is holding a public meeting to discuss several topics related to its administration of federal housing and community development programs including soliciting public input on priority housing and community development needs for the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, and anticipated funding allocation plan for the 2025-2026 program year. The meeting has been scheduled for:

The Consolidated Plan outlines Pawtucket’s housing and community development needs and funding priorities for the expenditure of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The city anticipates receiving approximately $8.2 million in CDBG funds, $2.5 million in HOME funds, and $750,000 in ESG funds during the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan period.
The 2025-2026 Action Plan involves activities to be funded with Federal funds from HUD including an estimated $1.7 million in CDBG, an estimated $500,000 in HOME funds, and an estimated $150,000 in ESG funds. These funds are used to benefit low- and moderate-income persons in Pawtucket through a variety of programs, including Affordable Housing, Neighborhood Improvements, Public Services, Economic Development, and Planning and Administration.
