Portion of Beverage Hill Avenue to Re-open Friday afternoon, December 22, 2023

PAWTUCKET – The City of Pawtucket announced that a portion of Beverage Hill Avenue will re-open in the afternoon on Friday, December 22, 2023. The designated area of the road was closed in order to connect the Prospect Heights Housing Community to the sewer main on Beverage Hill.

“We are thrilled to re-open Beverage Hill Avenue after its closure for the last six months,” said Mayor Donald R. Grebien. “Beverage Hill is a central access point in the City of Pawtucket. We are relieved that the vital sewer work has been completed, and that travel can resume.”

Beverage Hill Avenue has been closed from Prospect Street to Notre Dame Avenue since June 19, 2023. During this time, traffic has been re-directed through Prospect Street and Fred Street. Additional signage will remain through the weekend and into next week.
