Notice of Public Hearing
Zoning Ordinance Amendment Request

The Pawtucket City Council will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the
Pawtucket Zoning Ordinance on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Pawtucket
Municipal Annex, Temporary City Council Chambers, Second Floor, 100 Freight Street,
Pawtucket, RI. (Enter Parking Lot at 75 Sabin Street)

The proposed amendment incorporates an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Map and
Zoning Map. At the request of the applicant, Aleppo, LLC, the proposal seeks to rezone Tax
Assessor’s Plat 40, Lot 1015, located at 10 Newport Avenue, from Residential Single-Family
(RS) to Commercial General (CG). The proposed change is illustrated on the map below.

The proposed ordinance may be examined and copied at cost at the Office of the City Clerk,
Pawtucket City Hall, 3rd Floor, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Monday through Wednesday from
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The proposed ordinance may be modified or amended prior to the close of the public hearing
without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of views expressed at the
public hearing. Any modification or amendment will be presented for comment in the course of
the hearing.
