City of Pawtucket

Weekly Recap

Pawtucket Residents:

  • We’re excited to launch Get Healthy Pawtucket, a new citywide initiative promoting wellness, physical activity, and access to health resources for residents of all ages. Join us for the FREE kickoff event tomorrow, Saturday, January 31st, from 12–2 PM at RI Taekwondo (210 West Avenue), featuring fitness classes, demonstrations, and insights from local wellness leaders. This program brings together community partners and residents to support healthier lifestyles across Pawtucket. Come connect, learn, and take part in building a stronger, healthier community!
  • The Pawtucket Police Department is once again hosting its Kind Hearts Campaign ahead of Valentine’s Day, inviting residents to make or sign cards for local seniors. Cards will be delivered to the Senior Center and senior housing units throughout the city, where they are always warmly received. Donations are being collected at Police Headquarters through February 11, demonstrating the impact of community kindness.
  • Get Involved offers links to job openings throughout the City and also includes a link to vacancies currently available on our citywide Boards and Commissions.
  • Pawtucket Warming Centers
