Flood Safety Tips:
-
Before a flood: Make a family plan, elevate utilities, install check valves, and keep storm drains clear.
-
During a flood: Never walk or drive through floodwaters.
-
After a flood: Avoid floodwater, follow boil-water advisories, and dry out areas quickly to prevent mold.
-
Year-round: Report or clear clogged storm drains to reduce neighborhood flooding.
