RIBBA’s Skill-Up Program: RIBBA’s free, customized Skill-Up Program helps Pawtucket residents boost their careers—whether you’re unemployed, underemployed, or exploring your options. Each monthly session focuses on building resumes, improving LinkedIn profiles, mastering interviews and negotiation skills, and discovering your strengths. Gain confidence, financial stability, and community support.

- Funding Available to Address Homelessness and Improve Housing Stability: The City of Pawtucket is now accepting applications for projects focused on reducing homelessness and improving housing stability through HOME-ARP funding. A total of $2,076,595 is available to support a range of affordable housing initiatives.
Applications are due Monday, September 29, 2025, by 12:30 pm. For guidelines and submission, click here. For questions, contact Mark Goudreau at [email protected].
- Mayor’s Movie Night: The final Mayor’s Movie Night of the year was a big success! Kids and families enjoyed a fun evening together, highlighted by an incredible performance from the Pawtucket School Marching Band. Thanks to all the venues and volunteers who made it possible—we can’t wait for next year!
- Pawtucket Arts Collaborative: The Pawtucket Arts Collaborative (PAC) celebrated its 25th anniversary at The Guild with art displays, lively conversation, and a shared appreciation for creativity. The evening honored past members for their contributions, recognized current board members for their support, and welcomed Jacquie Langston as PAC’s new president.
- Community Spotlight: At 21, Ahrian turned his dream into reality by founding FUTSOUL NE, a new soccer facility at 20 Rhode Island Avenue in Pawtucket. The facility reflects his passion for soccer and commitment to the community. We’re proud to welcome FUTSOUL NE and celebrate Ahrian’s dedication to giving back to his hometown.
