Pawtucket Residents:
The Annual Pawtucket Arts Festival wraps up this weekend with the Slater Park Fall Festival on September 6–7 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Enjoy an open-air market featuring local crafters and artisans, along with food, games, and family-friendly entertainment. Highlights include Pops in the Park with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra and fireworks on Saturday evening. The 9th Annual Healthy Living Community Event will also take place, offering art projects, bouncy houses, and more. Admission is free!

RIBBA’s Skill-Up Program: RIBBA’s free, customized Skill-Up Program helps Pawtucket residents boost their careers—whether you’re unemployed, underemployed, or exploring your options. Each monthly session focuses on building resumes, improving LinkedIn profiles, mastering interviews and negotiation skills, and discovering your strengths. Gain confidence, financial stability, and community support.

- Funding Available to Address Homelessness and Improve Housing Stability: The City of Pawtucket is now accepting applications for projects focused on reducing homelessness and improving housing stability through HOME-ARP funding. A total of $2,076,595 is available to support a range of affordable housing initiatives.
