PAWTUCKET – The City of Pawtucket reminds residents that trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day due to the Labor Day Holiday on Monday September 1st, 2025. Residents are asked to place their bins out one day later than their usual schedule.
In addition, the Pawtucket Transfer Station will be closed on Monday September 1st 2025, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. The Transfer Station will reopen to regular operating hours on Tuesday September 2nd, 2025.
Please Note: Regular operating hours for the Transfer Station are Monday thru Friday 8:00 Am to 2:00 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM (closed on all holidays and during storm emergencies).
