The city has initiated a parking ban starting at 9:00 PM today, February 12, 2024, until further notice.

We are ready for the impending snowstorm. Our DPW crews have been working around the clock to prepare our roads and lots. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we navigate this storm. The following is some crucial information you may need throughout the storm. 

Emergencies:

For any emergencies, please contact the Pawtucket Police or Fire Department or call 911.

Parking Ban Information:

The City has initiated a parking ban starting at 9 PM, tonight, February 12, until further notice.

Street parking will not be permitted during this ban. If you need alternative parking, the City allows parking in the following lots:

6. Marrin & Pine Street lot

7. George & Grace Street lot

8. Varieur School, 486 Pleasant St.

9. Max Read Field off Pleasant Street

Trash:

Trash pickup will be delayed, one day. Please do not place your bins out during the storm.

Pawtucket Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 13th, 2024.

Seniors/Snow Shoveling Program:

The Youth to Senior Snow Shoveling Program is currently full. If any seniors have signed up for the program, they can expect assistance from their designated student to shovel snow tomorrow tomorrow, after school.
