Pawtucket Arts Festival

The Pawtucket Arts Festival celebrates the City’s creative and cultural life by presenting vibrant arts events throughout the first week of September to Pawtucket residents and visitors to the Blackstone River Valley.

We collaborate with local and international producing partners to present dance, music, theatre, film, visual, and folk-traditional arts that evoke the City’s historic legacy and diverse communities. Most of our events are free and for audiences of all ages.

The City of Pawtucket is dedicated to promoting the arts in the City of Pawtucket, to enhance the quality of life of its residents and the New England region by providing and supporting quality art and cultural events within the city as part of the Pawtucket Arts Festival as well as year-round.

This year’s Pawtucket Arts Festival will take place August 30th – September 8th 2024. The following are just a few events that will take place throughout the City; Chinese Dragon Boat Races and Cape Verdean Festival along the river at Festival Pier, Fall Fest & Craft Fair and the RI Philharmonic “Pops in the Park” at Slater Park, Empanada Fest food contest and Culture Shock and River Bend East musical festivals in Downtown.
