This year’s 2024 Pawtucket Hall of Fame Inductees are: Robert Andrade (former bank executive and civic-minded volunteer), Merry Caswell (educational leader), Pamela Hughes (volunteer community activist), William D. Mulholland (former public servant and featured Times writer), the late Lou Schweichheimer, Jr. (long-time executive of the Pawtucket Red Sox) and historical inductee, Vivian Marshall (film star).
In addition to the 2024 Inductees, this year’s recipient of the traditional “Person of the Year Award”, which is given to recognize the person the Hall of Fame Committee believes has made an outstanding contribution or achievement during the previous year, will be presented to Rhode Island Congressman Gabe Amo. “In its 32nd year, we continue to honor some great people who’ve made a big difference in our community,” says PHOF’s Chairperson, Patricia S. Zacks, noting what makes these individuals outstanding is their long-time commitment and dedication and what they’ve given of themselves to make Pawtucket a better community. edit
