Slater Memorial Park

Location: Entrances at Newport Ave and Armistice Blvd.

Estimated 200-acre Olmstead designed park, 1895 historic Looff Carousel (oldest Looff stander carousel in the world), 11 ballfields, 10 tennis courts, 13 picnic sites, one basketball court, Daggett Farm, Animal Shelter, three-acre Class C  fishing pond, 2.2-mile linear bike trail from Tomlinson Athletic Complex on Daggett Avenue through Slater Memorial Park to Kimberley Rock Athletic Complex in Rumford, the Pawtucket Dog Park, Friendship Gardens nature preserve, Marconi Gardens (weddings), Parks & Recreation   administrative office, various outdoor art sculptures, Rhode Island Watercolor Society, Adventure Playground featuring climbing wall, space nets, slides and swings

Slater Park Events: 
The following is a listing of annual events that take place at Slater Memorial Park.  Most of the events are facilitated by or in conjunction with the City of Pawtucket’s Recreation Division.  The Recreation Office is located in Slater Park and is adjacent to the Daggett House and tennis courts.  The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.

Veteran's Memorial Park

Location: Smithfield Avenue
20-acre park, six ballfields, four tennis courts, outdoor pool, one basketball court, six picnic sites, 6-12 years appropriate playground

Festival Pier

Location: School Street
$2 million renovation in 2015 which includes a new plaza, lighting, benches, picnic tables, fishing and parking areas and a new boat ramp to access the Seekonk River.
