Notice of Public Hearing
On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. the City
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing
at Pawtucket Public Library, 13 Summer Street,
Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to review the following
projects:
– A proposed commercial development in the
Narragansett Park Plaza at 675 Beverage Hill
Avenue. The applicant, Amalgamated Financial
Group IV, proposes the renovation of the existing
shopping plaza and the construction of new
structures for commercial, retail, residential and
office uses. This property is zoned Commercial
Mixed-Use (CMU). At the conclusion of this public
hearing, the City Planning Commission may
vote to approve, approve with conditions or deny
this proposed development project.
– A proposed development located at 300 Pine
Street at the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Hub
(Assessors Plat 44A Lot 559). Applicant, Rhode
Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) proposes
to construct a 2,600 s.f. building for use of
RIPTA passengers and employees. The property
is zoned Conant Thread (CT). At the conclusion
of this public hearing, the City Planning Commission
may vote to approve, approve with
conditions or deny this proposed development
project.
