PAWTUCKET –
The City of Pawtucket wants to thank everyone who attended and supported this year’s Independence Day fireworks celebration, held in partnership with the Rhode Island Football Club. The event drew over 4,800 attendees between Festival Pier and the Division Street Bridge and was a successful display of community spirit. Special thanks to city departments, vendors, and partners who made the night safe and memorable. The city looks forward to future events that unite and strengthen the community.

- Coffee & Conversation with the Community: Mayor Grebien joined Police Chief Tina Goncalves and Chief Equity Officer Charles Carvalho for a Coffee & Conversation event hosted by the Nonviolence Institute.
- Welcoming New Leaders to Serve Pawtucket: The City proudly welcomed new members to its Boards and Commissions. Congratulations to Lee Esckilsen (Planning Commission), Robert Benson (Water Supply Board), and Jonas Ulrich Bruggemann (Boards and Commissions).
- Community Spotlight: Remembering Alan Hassenfeld: The City of Pawtucket mourns the passing of Alan Hassenfeld.
