This week in Pawtucket, residents and fans gathered to celebrate the enduring legacy of McCoy Stadium, unveiling a historic time capsule and sharing stories that brought decades of memories to life. From iconic games to family moments, the event honored Pawtucket’s past while looking ahead to its bright future.

Pawtucket also would like to thank everyone who came out for a fantastic Mayor’s Movie Night at White Dog Distilling! It was a wonderful evening filled with film, fun, and community spirit. Next Mayors Movie Night is on July 11th at Nathanael Greene School; movie starts at 8!

This week’s community spotlight shined on Mrs. Kerri Day from Tolman High school on winning 2025 Teacher of the Year award.

As the summer heat settles in, the City of Pawtucket is proud to offer free and low-cost ways for residents to stay cool, connected, and healthy:

We encourage everyone to take advantage of these summer offerings, stay hydrated, and look out for one another!

Again, Join us on Saturday, July 5th for Pawtucket’s annual 4th of July celebration! In partnership with Centreville Bank Stadium and Rhode Island FC, the evening will be full of fun, food, and fireworks. Festivities kick off at 6:00 PM with local food trucks, a live DJ, and free activities for all ages. The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 PM. Mark your calendars!!
