Weekly Recap
Dear Pawtucket Residents,
Join us on Saturday, July 5th for Pawtucket’s annual 4th of July celebration! In partnership with Centreville Bank Stadium and Rhode Island FC, the evening will be full of fun, food, and fireworks. Festivities kick off at 6:00 PM with local food trucks, a live DJ, and free activities for all ages. The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 PM. Mark your calendars!!
This week in Pawtucket Cunningham School, Curvin-McCabe Elementary, and International Charter School all graduated their 5th grade class! This class that started their school years during COVID19 are now moving on to the next chapter, Middle School. Congratulations to all! We also highlighted the New Resource Hub at Independence Square! This grand opening is a milestone in supporting families and youth in foster care. Our Community Spotlight, Bob Billington, was highlighted as we celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, as well as his retirement after a 40-year run as the Founder of the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council.
