Important Update on New High School Construction Project

Dear Faculty/Staff, Families, and Community Members,

We are excited to share the latest developments on the new high school construction project in Pawtucket. As we move forward with the planning and execution of this transformative project, we want to keep everyone informed of key updates and the next steps.

Please be aware that access around McCoy Stadium is now restricted to construction personnel only. For your safety, we ask that all community members avoid the construction zones and adhere to all posted signs and barriers. The demolition of McCoy Stadium has officially begun. This is an important step in preparing the site for the new high school.  In addition, the work will focus

on clearing shrubs, trees, and other miscellaneous items around the perimeter of the site. This phase of the project will continue over the next several months, and we appreciate your patience as we work toward this exciting new development.

We are also thrilled to announce that the official groundbreaking event for the new high school will take place on April 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This milestone event marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our community, and we invite families and community members to join us in celebrating this historic moment.
